I'm a Senior SDET with 9+ years of experience building automated testing frameworks and leading quality engineering teams in the software industry.

My journey started in 2017 as a Manual Tester at Jalasoft, where I quickly advanced to SDET — transitioning from executing test cases to engineering the tools and frameworks that make testing faster, smarter, and more reliable. Along the way I led automation teams of up to 12 engineers and acted as technical focal point for a critical engineering area within an enterprise-scale platform. Since 2021 I've been at Encora Inc., doing my best work yet — designing test architectures, driving framework migrations, and integrating observability tools into the QA pipeline.

On the technical side, I specialize in test automation with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python (backend & frontend), CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Docker, and infrastructure & orchestration with Kubernetes. In one project, automation cut regression time from 8 hours to 20 minutes.

Beyond the technical work, I care deeply about building testing cultures: helping teams understand that quality is a shared responsibility, not a final checkpoint.

I'm currently expanding into AI-assisted testing and web development, exploring how large language models are reshaping quality assurance.

Professional Experience

Senior SDET (May 2021 - Present)
- Designing and evolving enterprise-scale UI and API test automation frameworks, driving architectural decisions, and integrating with observability platforms to ensure quality in production.
- Redesigned UI test architecture using Composite POM pattern to handle A/B testing variations, eliminating test duplication and significantly reducing maintenance cost.
- Integrated passive and active Datadog monitors into the test framework, intercepting GraphQL responses to surface hidden backend errors and create live observability dashboards.
- Led the technical evaluation and full migration from TestCafe to Playwright in under 4 weeks, presenting the business case to engineering leadership on both sides.
- Built the Playwright framework on hexagonal architecture, making it agnostic of both the test framework and external providers — enabling seamless dependency replacement without touching tests.
- After a team reduction, absorbed ownership of 3 separate test frameworks and extended the production monitoring suite to run full regressions every 5 minutes, 24/7.
- Created an MCP exposing test framework capabilities to developers for AI-assisted testing, a project that reached executive leadership visibility.
- Designed a Claude-Based Testing POC combining intent-based prompting with deterministic test-workflows for autonomous A/B test validation.
- Implementing API heartbeat tests using genql and Vitest, emitting metrics to Datadog every few minutes to detect backend service failures before E2E monitors catch them.
